I’ve Been in Your Shoes
When I first started working home full time, juggling work, the kids, homeschooling and all the other parts of my life it was so overwhelming, I actually burned out. I ended up so tired, I was ill and depressed — and I wasn’t the only one suffering.
I was ready to just quit!
But of course, that wasn’t possible. I had to figure out how to manage to do all of what I needed to do. And that’s exactly what I did.
Fast forward 14 years and I can honestly say you can kick butt at work, give your kids the education that is best for them, and (do I dare say it??) have a house that is reasonably pulled together most of the time. We still live here.
I’m no longer falling into bed burned out every night feeling like a failure. Instead I celebrate the wins of the day and remember tomorrow is a new day.
I believe every working mom can enjoy their career and give their kids the education they want while enjoying life. You just need the right support, the right resources and tools.
